Karen’s energy, creativity and transparency have defined her nearly 20-year career as a nonprofit professional. Her fundraising success has been fueled by her mission to connect philanthropists with giving opportunities that spark their imagination and passion. She has a proven track record of inspiring individual fundraising and leading development professionals to successfully grow support for a variety of nonprofit organizations. Karen has a wide variety of development expertise in the areas of relationship-based/major gift fundraising, capital, programmatic and endowment campaign management, effective volunteer/board/team management and strategic resource development planning.
Karen has led teams’ major giving programs and increased revenue and has experience elevating affiliate relationship-based fundraising programs. By evaluating and elaborating on existing bright spots and standardizing critical processes and metrics, Karen has helped her clients raise incremental revenue within short timeframes.
Karen has a passion for continuous improvement and adding value to make an impact. She holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration, a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Arizona State University. Karen, her husband, son and pups live in Phoenix, AZ.
